Born at Hampton, Iowa. Alfred and Kathryn Schmitt
lived in the Chicago area when they first married. They moved to
Sterling Illinois somewhere around 1928 or 29. Late in 1941 they purchased
Arnold's Drug store in Walnut Illinois. Then the Damn Japs bombed Pearl Harbor. The Schmitt family moved to Walnut January 1, 1942. |
